Citizens of most countries do not require a visa to enter Argentina for tourism, but you are encouraged to check the list of countries not requiring a visa on the website of the Argentine Foreign Ministry, which can be found within our terms and conditions.
While Argentina is safe and we take every measure to ensure a smooth experience for everybody…life does happen, as do for example medical emergencies. To ensure peace of mind for all parties, as well as to guarantee you access to the best medical facilities in the country in case of need, we do require travel/medical insurance.
Two reputable options offering travel/medical insurance for tourists in Argentina are Assist-Card and Universal Assistance. (Direct links to both insurance providers can be found within our terms and conditions).
Argentina no longer requires proof of negative COVID-19 PCR test, nor is it a requirement to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter Argentina, although a PCR test is recommended for non-vaccinated tourists.

ARGENTINA
Argentina boasts one of the best medical infrastructures in South America, with an excellent medical and hospital infrastructure both in the public as well as private sectors. With your international travel and health insurance (which is a requirement of participation in our experiences), you have access to a network of private clinics and emergency care, ensuring that in the unlikely and unfortunate case of a medical emergency you will receive top tier care in a timely manner.
Buenos Aires is statistically one of the safest major cities in Latin America, and ranked “level 1” by the US Department of State, meaning “exercise normal precautions.” Like in any major city, crime does occur, certain areas are safer than others, and tourists should exercise reasonable precautions like being aware of your surroundings and paying attention to valuables and electronics. But generally Buenos Aires is a very international city, in many areas of which it is not at all uncommon to hear people speaking in foreign languages as they go about their day. You will also be accompanied by our dedicated tour guides and managers during your activities with us, providing an added layer of peace of mind to your Buenos Aires experience.
TOURS
Absolutely! All our guides and tour managers speak several languages fluently and are there to ensure that you have a memorable and immersive Buenos Aires footballing experience, whatever your native language may be!
We are flexible in case of inclement weather, with our first alternative being to simply move things around in the itinerary to accommodate for weather conditions during your stay. Sometimes, if the choice is between bearing the weather and missing out on an experience, we will give our guests the option of carrying out the activity despite adverse weather (such as rain), or an indoor Plan B.
Each and every one of the activities in our experiences is completely optional, and should you not wish to participate in one (because it is not of your interest, to do something else, or simply to rest) this is no problem at all.
When we say all inclusive, we mean it! We take care of everything, and your only extra out of pocket expenses will be whatever souvenirs you choose to purchase to take back with you.
That said, as noted in our experience descriptions and terms and conditions, international health and travel insurance is required for our experiences and not included in our experience package. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate international health and travel insurance prior to your experience.
Please note: Tipping is customary in Argentina (at restaurants, for tour guides, etc.) and tips are not included in our all inclusive package.
If you can’t make it on any of the regularly scheduled experience dates, our Tailor Made option might be the alternative for you! With the GOAT Tailor Made Football Experience, you are free to select your exact dates for an experience either alone as an individual or with a larger group.
STADIUM EXPERIENCES
While rare, match postponements or suspensions are an element outside of our control and do occur from time to time. Rest assured that with thirty six football stadiums in the greater Buenos Aires area, it is very unlikely that we won’t be able to find a suitable alternative to provide you with memorable Argentine match day experiences.
ACCOMMODATIONS
If you wish to be in a single room, simply select the corresponding “Single Room Upgrade” add-on button either during your check-out process when booking your experience, or after the fact by selecting the appropriate option inside your customer account.
For the “Original” and “Superclasico” football experiences the hotel for your group will be chosen by us, but is guaranteed to be one of the hotels in our hotels list, the location and pictures of all of which are visible on our website. In the case of the “Luxury” and “Tailor Made” experiences, you are free to choose the specific hotel of your preference (subject to availability).
MEALS
No problem. You can make us aware of your dietary restrictions or preferences either via e-mail or in the appropriate section of your customer account profile after booking until 15 days prior to the experience start date. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs, and inform you in a timely manner in the unlikely event that we encounter an issue.
Our experiences include four full meals per day– Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and the traditional Argentine “merienda,” which is essentially a coffee time/snack served between 5pm and 7pm. Please keep in mind that meals are traditionally late in the day in Argentina, with lunch being 1pm or 2pm, and dinner often starting at 9pm or 10pm.
MISC.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and try to be as flexible as possible with our cancellation and postponement policies. That said, as you can imagine there are certain elements of your experience which GOAT Football LLC reserves and pays in advance (such as for example hotels and match tickets) which may not always be refundable. Please refer to our terms and conditions to see exactly what your cancellation and refund options may be depending on how many days prior to your tour you choose to cancel.
Unfortunately, flight cancellations or delays are a circumstance fully outside of our control, for which we cannot take responsibility, especially as most of the costs incurred by us in the organization of your Buenos Aires football experience are at that point non-refundable. We do however understand that, while unlikely, such a circumstance can be extremely frustrating, and offer a 25% transferable discount coupon in case of a flight cancellation or delay resulting in you missing two full days or more of your experience (proof of flight cancellation/delay required). This coupon is transferable, and can be used either by yourself on a future experience, or as a gift to a friend or loved one.
Not a problem. If you so choose, we can arrange your airport transfer (be it for arrival and/or departure) for a small fee, and we can also book extra hotel nights for you. In both cases, we require a minimum of 15 days notice. Extra hotel room nights are subject to availability
Your GOAT Football Experience begins the moment you pass immigration, where your dedicated tour manager will be present to greet you and accompany you to your dedicated hotel transport.
